Lady Gaga defends ‘incredible’ Ed Sheeran after he quits Twitter over vile trolls
Lady Gaga has jumped to Ed Sheeran ’s defence after he was forced to quit Twitter following a string of abusive messages . Sheeran – who said one nasty comment was often enough to ruin his day – claimed some of the worst messages came from Gaga’s fans who mistakenly assumed he was speaking badly of her during an interview. Speaking to The Sun he said: “Lady Gaga’s fanbase read an interview in which they assumed I was talking about her and they all f****** hate. “And it wasn’t anything to do with that at all. So I think Twitter gets on a massive steam roll of assuming things and then you get in the s***.” Gaga responded by sharing a picture of herself and Sheeran striking a thumbs up pose, and encouraged people to be “positive and loving”.
