Lady Gaga  has thrown her support behind  Ed Sheeran   after the British singer-songwriter revealed he had quit Twitter due to a constant stream of online abuse. Earlier this week, Sheeran told  The Sun  he’d step away from the social media platform and his 19.2 million followers. “I’ve actually come off Twitter completely. I can’t read it. I go on it and there’s nothing but people saying mean things. Twitter’s a platform for that. One comment ruins your day. But that’s why I’ve come off it.
